20 Deep Fried Recipes (For Hanukkah!)

Published by Amy Becker on December 22, 2014
Fried Food Recipes

Latkes and sufganiyot are just the beginning! 20 more deep fried foods for Hanukkah or anytime! I’m talking deep fried corn on the cob, brisket fritters, cookie dough, and more.Fried Food Recipes

Y’all know this isn’t a healthy living blog. I totally believe in moderation (salad for lunch, cheesy horseradish bourbon dip for dinner) but when it comes time Hanukkah (or the Super Bowl, or Friday) baked latkes just ain’t gonna do it! I’ve got enough latkes for more than eight days worth, but sometimes you just need something a little more right? So power up the deep fryer, and let’s get frying (not sorry).  Here are some of my favorite deep fried recipes from around the Internets.

Darn you! I can’t decide which one I want to fry first! But I’m leaning towards the corn on the cob. Maybe it’s the carny in me and my love for corndogs on a stick! Happy Hanukkah to you and yours! ~xxoo~

Shalom! I’m Amy Kritzer Becker and welcome to What Jew Wanna Eat! Your source for home cooked (sometimes) kosher goodness. I have always enjoyed cooking and baking, but needed a new goal, a challenge, to get back to my culinary roots. So, I called up Bubbe Eleanor and pleaded for her to send me her best recipes. Stat!
