Thanksgiving isn’t technically a Jewish holiday. And by technically, I mean actually. But that doesn’t mean you can’t have Jewish Thanksgiving Recipes!
I love Thanksgiving. The food, of course, is some of the best around. Turkey. Mashed potatoes. Cranberry Sauce. All topped with bourbon gravy! Remember Thanksgivukkah? When Hanukkah and Thanksgiving overlapped for the first time in forever and the last time in 70,000 years or so? Yeah. It was the best food day ever. So now I aim to recreate the Jewish/Thanksgiving mashup every year. Because you want challah in your stuffing. Trust me. How do you combine Thanksgiving and Jewish food??

Ha! Amy… It does not matter when it is…as long as we eat we are happy right?!? Love this list! Thanksgiving happens to be one of my favorite holidays because we get together with the whole family and get loud and happy! Happy Thanksgiving doll!
Haha thanks, Mila!
[…] know everyone is in full-on Thanksgiving mode, but I’m all Hanukkah thanks to ModernTribe and this being our busiest week of the year! […]
When I arrived to the USA as a foreign college student, my first THANKSGIVING was in the home of a Jewish family that invited many of the foreign students, I fell in love with it,any American can celebrate it.
Later I married a non religious jew, my late husband taught me to cook,in my birth country I had servants.
I also asked older ladies to teach me Jewish cooking.
I am and always was a practicing Roman catholic, but I have a perfect Azkenazi Thanksgiving every year, with all the foods my late husband liked and our kids love.
Kugel,latkes, cheese cake,etc,etc.
Thanks for sharing 🙂

Thank you!!
