An easy horseradish dip with lots of cheese, and a hint of bourbon!
This funny thing happened when I was cooking up Thanksgivukkah dinner. After I poured some bourbon in the braising sauce of my Bourbon and Coffee Braised Brisket, I “accidentally” dribbled a little in my sautéed butternut squash. And my gravy. And my pie whipped cream. Jew get the idea. Before I knew it the bottle was nearly gone but boy were my guests happy! (Or was that the drinking dreidel?) Turns out bourbon is the secret to deliciousness. But y’all probably already knew that, right? (Scroll down to the end of this post for a giveaway too!)
So when it came time to whip up a holiday dip for Stonyfield and Simply Organic’s Plate of the Month, my mind went immediately to bourbon! This Greek yogurt based horseradish dip is easy to whip up in a food processor. To make things even easier, I used Simply Organic’s poultry seasoning to flavor the dip. That may sound weird, but the seasoning is filled with lots of flavors- sage, cayenne, thyme, onion, Yum! (Hello, bourbon!)
Combine all ingredients in a food processor- sharp cheddar, Stonyfield Organic Greek yogurt, prepared horserasih Simply Organic Poultry Seasoning, and salt. And of course bourbon!
That’s it! I garnished mine with smoked paprika and served with veggies and crackers.

Cheesy Horseradish Bourbon Dip
Ingredients
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese grated
- 1/2 cup Stonyfield Greek Yogurt
- 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
- 1 tablespoon bourbon
- 1 teaspoon Simply Organic Poultry Seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- Smoked paprika for garnish
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor- sharp cheddar, Stonyfield Organic Greek yogurt, horseradish, Simply Organic Poultry Seasoning, and salt. And of course bourbon!
- Garnish with smoked paprika, chill for 10 minutes or up to 2 hours and serve.
