Bubbe Visits Austin

Bubbe took Texas by storm! She had her first breakfast taco, sampled some local wines, and collected swag at the Prevention R3 Summit! Plus, a new Bubbe video!

Bubbe Visits Austin

I mean look how happy we are! Bubbe came to visit me in Austin and she sure did feel at home. Just look at her in that cowgirl hat! Adorable. Yee haw!

I know y’all are really here for the latest Bubbe video, right? This is a winner. Sorry it’s a vertical. No excuse, really. It certainly wasn’t because we had been at the winery for two hours already. Certainly not.

So cute! Can you believe Bubbe had never even been to a winery before? She sure acted like an expert. My favorite Bubbe line: “I love doctors!” Soooo freaking Jewish. Followed closely by “I love free stuff!”. Oy.

My mom was jealous of how adorbs Bubbe looked in the cowboy hat, so she wore it frolicking around South Congress. Look at her guns! I mean muscles, not actual guns. Though this is Texas…

The next day we went to the R3 Summit from Prevention Magazine. Swag city! There were fitness workshops…

R3 Summit

All sorts of cool demos. I stocked up on moisturizer and haircare products! Just trying to keep up with Bubbe here. We also got to try healthy juices from JuiceLand Austin and yogurt from Stonyfield!

R3 Summit

Very important person, here.

R3 Summit

There were also some amazing speakers chatting about health, happiness and quality of life. Andie MacDowell was there! She talked about loving her age (they should have had Bubbe on stage!) and was super quirky, which I love of course. Her message? Be happy. Don’t waste time being miserable. That’s all you need, right?

R3 Summit

Three generations, one love of swag. Bubbe and Mom could hardly fit all their goodies in their suitcase!

R3 Summit

Thanks for reading, y’all! Tell me about your Bubbes!

Disclaimer: Prevention Magazine let me, Bubbe and Mom all attend the R3 Summit for free! So sweet. All opinions are my own.

She SO reminds me of my Bubbie!! They do love their doctors! My cousin became “the doctor” grandson; I’m the cook and baker granddaughter! She is precious, as is mine! Treasure them forever, right!? ❤️
