40 Chinese Recipes

Homemade egg rolls, a twist on egg drop soup, homemade fortune cookies, the best moo shu ever and and lots more Chinese Food Recipes to make at home!

Merry Christmas Eve y’all! Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, sometimes the holiday gets a bit lonely. Especially for this Jew. No sparkly tree, no egg nog, no caroling, no gingerbread cookies. But it’s not all so bad, I swear! Because we’ve got movies…and Chinese food! And I bought some eggnog. This year, instead of calling up take out, or schlepping to your local haunt, how about making your own? It’s easy, I swear! I’ve rounded up 40 or so recipes from some of my favorite bloggers. What’s your go-to Chinese dish?

I love this post. My husband is Christian so we celebrate both Hanukkah and Christmas in our house but it takes a lot of willpower for me not to try to convince everyone to have Chinese food. I am still angling for Christmas Eve lol!

Thanks, Alyssa! My boyfriend and I went for Chinese food and then watched A Christmas Story and drank spiked hot cocoa on Christmas Eve. It worked for us!
