Why wait for Hanukkah to treat yourself (and your friends too)? I’ve put together this guide for Rosh Hashanah Gifts for Food Lovers. I’ll take one of everything, please.
I love the Jew New Year. An excuse to eat apples & honey, a reason to purchase a new outfit for shul, and, best of all, getting together with my friends and family and eating a big meal. Whether you need a hostess gift or just want to treat yourself, I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite foodie gifts from my store, ModernTribe.com! Which one is your favorite?
If you are like me, you’re a slob in the kitchen. No shame in it. Cover yourself with this cute Israeli made apple and honey apron from Barbara Shaw!
Rosh Hashanah Nail Decals
I have these nail decals (and the ones for Passover and Hanukkah too!) and am obsessed. Because when you are bringing out your delicious homemade Rosh Hashanah dinner, your nails have got to look GOOD.
2017/2018 Jewish Holiday Tea Towel
Another item from Barbara Shaw! Because I love her stuff. This Israel-made Hebrew calendar tea towel tells you when all the holidays are (in English. Because how many times do you have to Google Passover 2018?!? At least 613. Now just look at your towel!)
These delicious marzipan lollipops are a unique way to celebrate Rosh Hashanah. This Gift Set contains ten lollipops: two each of a honeypot, a red apple, a challah, a pomegranate and a shofar. A fabulous hostess gift, or use to decorate a centerpiece or each place setting at your Rosh Hashanah table. Kids love them!
And if you’re feeling real fancy, splurge on this Joy Stember apple and honey platter. It is made from shiny red powder coated steel and brass and come with a honey dipper that is made from pewter and brass. Use the rest of the year as a gorgeous serving platter. Check out the mini version too!
You can’t have Rosh Hashanah without honey- duh! But don’t use just any honey. Lavender Honey is among the most prized varietals of honey, and this one is from Southern Spain. Its light color, slightly purple hue, and gentle flavor notes make it particularly complimentary in mild tea and as a sugar substitute in baking. And it’s kosher!
I love these a lox! This set of greeting cards is a great way to express your Jewish identity and love of Jewish culinary tradition. The set features wonderful illustrations of your favorite, pun-y, Jewish dishes for a variety of occasions
Pomegranate Coasters/Napkin Rings
These adorable coasters made in Tel Aviv can also be napkin rings. They do both!
