A little behind the scenes action of my photo shoot with Tim Kyle Photography!

So one of my favorite things, besides cooking for y’all, and covering myself is glitter, is talking to strangers! For real. I just love meeting new people and hearing their stories. So it isn’t too surprising that on a trip last fall to visit my friend Abbi in the German beer town of Fredericksburg (Fun fact: downtown Fredericksburg is one of the few places in the USA where open container is legal. Who needs Vegas?) we ended up talking to the adorable couple behind us in line.

So cute, right? Tim was schlepping around a whole bunch of legit camera equipment, and before we knew it, impromptu photo shoot. Love it! I told Tim about this here blog, and he offered to take a few new headshots for me and some product shots for my Etsy page. After perusing Tim’s website, I was game.

Besides adorable photos of his adorable family, Tim photographs weddings, kids, couples. Heck, I bet he’d even do a Bar Mitzvah. Isn’t the photo below just gorgeous??

When it came time for my photo shoot, Tim was super fun and professional. He set up all his stuff laser fast and on time, and even answered all of my annoyingly inquisitive photography questions.

Tim’s not only an expert photographer, but an expert of making you feel super comfortable smiling while peeling a potato. He also knows all of the skinny arm tricks. Kind of essential stuff.

He took some photos of my food too. I didn’t think I could look at another latke after this Hanukkah, but don’t these Mexican Potato Latkes look good!?

Latkes up!

We also made Chocolate Cheesecake Rugelach.

And Caprese Shakshuka.

Totally candid photo of me making cookies in a sequin top and full makeup. This is how I always look when I’m cooking! Certainly not in men’s sweatpants and a Hello Kitty t-shirt. Never.

We even got a few family shots with Manischewitz! We had such a fun day, and Tim’s my man the next time I need legit shots. Check out Tim Kyle Photography to see more of his work!

Disclosure: I received this photo shoot for free, but was not required to write about it. Just wanted to share!

Shalom! I’m Amy Kritzer Becker and welcome to What Jew Wanna Eat! Your source for home cooked (sometimes) kosher goodness.
