Who doesn’t love the sweet Jewish bread cake amazingness we call babka? Have you ever made your own? Here are 20 Babka Recipes to get you started. Yes!
Y’all. I love babka. (Bab-wha??) What is this magical treat? I’m glad you asked! It’s a yeasted bread (don’t be scared!) stuffed with chocolate, cinnamon, or pretty much anything you can imagine. And it’s just delicious. Babka came about as a way to use leftover challah dough, and repurpose it into a dessert. Sneaky! Sometimes topped with a streusel, chocolate, or magic. (Cheating tip: use crescent dough instead of homemade to speed up the process).
