Pacific Merchants Giveaway!

Pacific Merchants Giveaway

Hanukkah giveaways are here on What Jew Wanna Eat! Woo hoo! Let’s start with a Pacific Merchants Giveaway!

Pacific Merchants Giveaway

Y’all I’m so excited for Hanukkah! I know it’s not the most important holiday on the block (hey there High Holidays) but it’s pretty darn fun. Fried stuff, chocolate money, pyromania. What’s not to love? Oh yeah. And presents! Let’s be honest, getting presents is awesome. But giving is even better. Really! That’s why I’ve got EIGHT awesome giveaways coming up. Eight presents, eight nights of Hanukkah. Coincidence? I’ll let you ponder that one.

First up, a gift card from my friends at Pacific Merchants! This family owned company makes super high quality wooden serving pieces, canning equipment, fermenting crocks. Everything a girl could want! Plus they sent me a super sweet personal email saying how much they love WJWE. Way better than the usual PR emails I get: “Dear What Jew Wanna Eat- We thought you would be interested in our new line of Jesus Chia Pets!” Riiight.

I follow them on Instagram for lots of ideas, such as this wistful summer display. (Miss you summer!)

I used some of their Acacia line for the Cardamom Coffee Beet Salad above and this pizza below.

Pacific Merchants Giveaway

And how good does my matzah ball soup look in these bowls?? Love! Even if you don’t win, Pacific Merchants gave me a generous discount code! Use WhatJewWanna20 to save 20% off any order.

Okay, enter using the Rafflecopter below. It may take some time to load. And may work better on a desktop. Oy sorry!

All of their stuff is beautiful – the wood goes with any dish in my kitchen. But the two huge heads of cabbage in my refrigerator vote for the fermenting crocks. Homemade sauerkraut would be awesome! Kidzilla loves sauerkraut and being able to keep homemade on hand for her would make her very happy.

For many years I worked at a store that sold Pacific Merchants, and I always loved their acacia ware, but if I won the gift certificate I would buy some fermenting crocks! I ferment a couple veggies every month, but my crocks are all really small. I would also get a canning set for all the stuff that comes out of my garden!

I think this is a great innovative approach to Jewish cooking and I love the recipes and ideas. If I won the Pacific Coast gift card I would happily purchase a new wooden salad bowl. My own has been cracking and splitting for months but I keep using it. I really need a new one and theirs are beautiful.
