You may not know this about me, but I’m preeety darn crafty. If you’ve seen my Halloween costumes, you’d get it. I have been known to spend a small fortune on glitter. Worth it. I have a collection of puff paint. Fact. But would you believe I had never made a gingerbread house? Well, I am Jewish. So maybe you would believe.

Here’s the scoop. From December 9^th to December 23^rd 2014 make a Chanukah House using the Manischewitz Do-It-Yourself Chanukah House. Then just upload a photo of your Chanukah House to the Manischewitz Facebook page. You can add as many sprinkles as your little heart desires! The Grand Prize Winner will receive $2,000!

Now, back to my house. The kit comes with tons of icings and sprinkles, and even an adorable candy mezuzah! Loves it. And I made a tie dye door I always wanted.

Sadly, my house came a little cracked in places. I guess it’s more of a crack house. But that’s what frosting is for, right? I distracted from the cracks with rainbow sprinkle snow. I think it worked perfectly.
