Horseradish Whitefish Salad

Did you know you can make your own whitefish salad at home? No need to schlep to the nearest bagel joint for your fix! Horseradish whitefish salad has a nice kick too!

Serious question time. What’s your favorite bagel topping? (I know, it’s like asking to name your favorite child. That may be easier actually.) Is it classic bagel, lox and schmear? Or hangover curing egg and cheese? Or something crazy like Nutella?

I’ve enjoyed all three of those combos, (mmm Nutella) but I want to bring your attention to the less attractive but super delicious whitefish salad! Sort of a fancier tuna fish, but with smoked whitefish and this version has some spicy horseradish. Too good!Horseradish Whitefish Salad

It makes a great party appetizer- bring out the cucumbers and bagel chips- or break fast recipe next to its friends noodle kugel and homemade lox. (Break fast is the first meal after the 25 hour fast known as Yom Kippur. We fast to repent for our sins for the past year. Then we eat a spread of bagels and other awesomeness!)Horseradish Whitefish Salad

Or you can totally eat it out of the bowl with a fork. Check out Joy of Kosher for the recipe for Horseradish Whitefish Salad!!!
