Raw Generation Juice Cleanse Review

Published by Amy Becker on October 13, 2014
Raw Generation Cleanse

A little review of the Raw Generation Juice Cleanse!

Raw Generation Cleanse

I’m normally not a juice cleanse kinda girl. Mostly because I love food and love chewing. But Raw Generation has an adorable story, and I’ve been in full fledged Hanukkah recipe development mode (read: fried stuff) so this seemed like a good time for a little refresh!

Raw Generation Cleanse

Raw Generation was started by Bill & Jess Geier, a father/daughter duo (how cute, right?) As a total daddy’s girl (and Bubbe’s girl), I loved this. Motivated after the death of Bill’s mother to change their diet, the pair couldn’t find any totally raw and unpasteurized juices out there. So they started their own, and named the juices after women in their family, another factoid I love.

My 3-day cleanse came with Jessica, Carolyn, Cecelia and Elizabeth juices. I was sad at first there was no milkshake-esque juice like in other cleanses. But that was before I tried them. The beet one was especially delicious! The juices come frozen (to preserve the nutrients), which I loved, as you don’t have to start the day they come, and if you don’t finish all the juices you can save them for future meals/snacks. The Raw Generation peeps claim drinking juices allow your body to absorb more nutrients, and therefore lets go of fat.

How did I feel? I slept great, felt less bloated, and my normally weak nails instantly strengthened. I felt a little light headed, and overall just missed wine chewing. Five juices per day was enough for me though. I wasn’t too hungry- really! Want to try Raw Generation? Use the code REPEAT40 to save 40%! Healthy juices and a good deal. Works for me!

Raw Generation Cleanse

Raw Generation gave me a 3 day cleanse but I was not compensated for this post and all opinions are my own.

Shalom! I’m Amy Kritzer Becker and welcome to What Jew Wanna Eat! Your source for home cooked (sometimes) kosher goodness. I have always enjoyed cooking and baking, but needed a new goal, a challenge, to get back to my culinary roots. So, I called up Bubbe Eleanor and pleaded for her to send me her best recipes. Stat!
