Mensch of the Month Calendar Giveaway!!

Happy Hanukkah week, friends! I know I said no more giveaways, but when I was approached about the Mensch of the Month Calendar, I couldn’t say no! Maybe because I’m a 90’s child, but I love calendars. There is just something delightfully nostalgic about them, especially when the proceeds go to a good cause!

Mensch

The calendar features single Jewish men and women of the bay area who have hearts of gold.  The models are real life mensches who volunteered to help raise money for SMART. The calendars are available on the website until supplies run out, and they make great Hanukkah gifts! Proceeds benefit San Francisco’s SMART program for low-income middle school students.  The whole project is one big mitzvah filled with shayna punims! Cute right?

Shalom! I’m Amy Kritzer Becker and welcome to What Jew Wanna Eat! Your source for home cooked (sometimes) kosher goodness. I have always enjoyed cooking and baking, but needed a new goal, a challenge, to get back to my culinary roots. So, I called up Bubbe Eleanor and pleaded for her to send me her best recipes. Stat!
