Charoset Smoothie

Who is sick of matzah yet? I mean I love a tasty Jew cracker slathered with butter as much as the next girl, but it’s a long week! I started putting together an AWESOME recap of my Passover Seder (hint: it includes a video of me and Bubbe!) and it was getting super long, so I thought I would break things up and give you a midweek Passover friendly breakfast. Jew are welcome!

I was whipping this smoothie the other day when it hit me- this recipe needs to be on WJWE! But at that point I was already blending my breakfast up, so I unfortunately did not get to capture the ingredients on film. However, if you have any leftover charoset in the fridge, you need to make one of these smoothies! Super healthy, Passover friendly, and an excuse to have wine with breakfast. There, I said it. Just mix the ingredients together in a blender and you are good to go! I used my apple beet charoset, but any charoset will do. Stay tuned for my Seder recap soon! What have you been eating for Passover breakfast?

Great idea!!! Being in an interfaith family, I finished all my Passover cooking and am beginning to bake dishes to bring for my in-laws Easter, so I wanted something quick, simple with few ingredients. Im DONE with the oven for a while. This is PERFECT!!!

Leftover charoset is also delicious on vanilla ice cream – very non-traditional, but delicious all the same.

Wow! Was skeptical at first as I had tons of the traditional charoset (candied walnuts, apples, cinnamon, and honey), but made this tonight and loved it. The Greek yogurt gives a really nice tangy flavor to it. Very filling and delicious. Have a big glass for breakfast tomorrow. Great idea!
