What’s a bubbe?
Bubbe (BUH-bee) is Yiddish for grandmother. Mine is Eleanor Becker — mahjong champion, Dancing With the Stars correspondent, and the source of just about every recipe I cook on this site. The interviews, the cooking videos, the matriarchal narration of every Passover Seder we’ve ever filmed: all of it lives here.
Videos & interviews
Here’s the running collection of Bubbe content on the blog: an interview, a few cooking videos, the Mother’s Day gift reveal, a road trip, and the famous Texas visit.
Bubbe is the Yiddish word for Grandmother. Usually they have flappy arms- not all cute like mine!
