Heat a medium saute pan over medium heat. Add the poppy seeds, sesame seeds, garlic and onion flakes and cook while stirring until fragrant and slightly toasted.
Remove from the heat and let cool. Mix together with salt. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 months.
Some notes: You can find dried onion and garlic flakes in the bulk spice department of your supermarket. They also have dried garlic and dried onion on Amazon.
You can definitely double or triple this recipe. I like to not use too much salt, but feel free to add more to your liking.
