Ingredients

  • 9 pieces matzah (broken into bite sized pieces)
  • 1 cup kosher for Passover semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup almond butter or cashew butter. (Peanut butter works not during Passover or if you eat it during Passover!)
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups kosher for Passover confectioner's sugar

Instructions

  • Prep a cookie sheet with wax paper and set aside.
  • First up, put your chocolate chips, nut butter and butter in a sauce pan and cook on low to medium heat while stirring until all melted and no lumps remain. Then stir in the vanilla.
  • Remove from heat and add your broken up matzah in and coat the matzah in the chocolate.
  • After that, add the confectioner’s sugar and mix up until all your matzah is covered.
  • Spread the mixture on the wax paper to cool. I popped mine in the refrigerator to make the process faster. Then eat and enjoy!
  • Store in an airtight container if there is any left!
